    • Is this any way for Trump to act in a friendly interview?
      Page: 2
No interview with Trump conducted by anyone from the MSM is "friendly". Some reporters are just more smarmy and unctuous than others.

Trump knows the score with these pompous slimeballs, and shows them his Strong Pimp Hand, being "minimally courteous" about it.

    • The Other Shoe Drops: Bill Shine Resigns from Fox News
Sean Hannity: 'Somebody high up' at Fox trying to get Bill Shine fired

      http://money.cnn.com/2017/04/27/media/sean-hannity-tweets-bill-shine/

Fox News primetime host Sean Hannity believes somebody at Fox News is trying to get the network's co-president Bill Shine fired -- and he claims to know who it is.

In a series of tweets posted on Thursday afternoon, Hannity claimed Shine was the target of a smear campaign led by "somebody high up and inside FNC." He also portrayed Shine, a longtime friend of Hannity's and his former producer, as an essential member of Fox News, and said the network would "end" without him.

    • Trump says China could have hacked Democratic emails
President Donald Trump said China may have hacked the emails of Democratic officials to meddle with the 2016 presidential election, countering the view of U.S. intelligence officials who have said Moscow orchestrated the hacks.

In an interview transcript published on Sunday, Trump gave no evidence backing his allegation, first made on the eve of the Nov. 8 presidential election, that China could have hacked the emails of his rivals.

"If you don't catch a hacker, okay, in the act, it's very hard to say who did the hacking," the president said in an interview with CBS "Face the Nation." "(It) could have been China, could have been a lot of different groups."

The hackers roiled the presidential campaign by making public embarrassing emails sent by Democratic operatives and aides to Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. One email showed party leaders favoring Clinton over her rival in the campaign for the party's internal nomination contest.

    • Donald Trump invites Philippines Rodrigo Duterte to the White House
President Donald Trump invited his polarizing Philippines counterpart to the White House during a phone call in which the two leaders discussed North Korea.

Trump and President Rodrigo Duterte had a "friendly discussion" Saturday that also addressed regional security in southeast Asia and the Philippines' drug war, the White House said in a statement.

While it did not provide details on when or if Duterte would visit the White House, it said Trump is looking forward to his Philippines trip in November.

A few hours before the phone call, Duterte had implored the United States to show restraint toward North Korea, saying the two nations are "playing with their dangerous toys."

    • Tillerson: China threatened sanctions if North Korea conducts nuclear test
China threatened to sanction North Korea's government if it conducts under nuclear weapons test, U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said Thursday.

Tillerson plans to address a special meeting of the United Nations Security Council in New York on Friday as tensions are "running a bit high right now."

"They confirmed to us that they had requested that the regime conduct no further nuclear test," Tillerson said of the Chinese during an interview on Fox's Special Report with Bret Baier. "In fact, we were told by the Chinese that they informed the (North Korean) regime that if they did conduct further nuclear tests, China would be taking sanctions action on their own."

Also Thursday, House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy announced the chamber will vote next week on a bill to authorize new sanctions against North Korea

    • Israeli newspaper claims Trump will recognize entire Jerusalem as Israel's capital during trip
US President Donald Trump will reverse longstanding US policy by officially recognizing the entire city of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, but will not implement his election campaign pledge to relocate the American embassy from Tel Aviv, the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper claimed Thursday. There was no confirmation of the report.

According to the paper, Israel's biggest selling daily, Trump will make the announcement during his upcoming visit to Israel, reportedly in late May - a trip the White House has confirmed it is "exploring." He is also expected to express support for the establishment of a Palestinian state alongside Israel, the paper said.

Since Israel declared independence in 1948, US policy has been not to recognize any party as sovereign in any part of Jerusalem. During his election campaign, Trump vowed repeatedly to move the US Embassy to Jerusalem, drawing fierce objections from the Palestinians. He will not announce an embassy move during his visit, the newspaper said, in its unsourced front page report.

Israel extended sovereignty to East Jerusalem and the Old City and claims the entire city as its capital; the Palestinians seek East Jerusalem as the capital of an independent Palestinian state.

    • Poll: Just 36% of Voters Would Re-Elect Donald Trump
A new poll from Fox News suggests that significantly more people were happier with Barack Obama's first 100 days in office than President Donald Trump's.

The survey, which was conducted under the direction of two third-party research firms, found that only 36% of respondents would vote to re-elect Trump after his first 100 days, compared to 52% of respondents who said that they would vote to re-elect Obama after his first 100 days.

The poll found that 55% of respondents would not vote to re-elect to Trump; only 31% said they would not vote to re-elect Obama.

Trump will hit his 100th day in office on April 29 and has faced criticism on both sides for abandoned campaign promises. "No matter how much I accomplish during the ridiculous standard of the first 100 days, & it has been a lot (including S.C.), media will kill!" he tweeted last week.

    • Thank god Princess Pelosi is on the verge of stroking out
I get what they're saying, and this post is definitely well above average. I need to point out that this is just what we're seeing now. We need an example from years ago for a basis of comparison. I'm just saying that she was never all there, and that on day one she would have been interchangeable with:

I'm not a conspiracy tard, and I don't put much stock in a random audio clip.

But Trump calling the entire Senate to the White House, with the Sec of State and Joints Chiefs present, is verrrrrry unsettling.

It feels like something weird is about to happen.
